NUTRITIONAL THERAPY - HOW MANY APPOINTMENTS MIGHT YOU NEED?
I recommend at least two appointments, preferably after you have completed the Nutrition in a Nutshell course:
The thing to remember is that habits built up over a lifetime take time to change and that regular support, encouragement and feedback helps to keep you on track while you're making the changes.
- One to take your history and set you on the path with your first changes (around 2 hours)
- A follow-up appointment 3 weeks later to see how you are getting on, help with any difficulties and give you further advice (around 1 hour)

ONE TO ONE CONSULTATIONS
My overall aim is to give you ideas and strategies to improve your diet in a way you will find as easy and enjoyable as possible.
I won't ask you to make dramatic changes overnight, unless that's what you want.
I will suggest additions and changes which will naturally lead you towards a healthier way of eating.
We will look together at what you are eating now, how you feel, what you would like to change, and, step by step, improve what you eat in a way which emphasises enjoyment of food and long term good eating habits.
I don't want to make you feel deprived, or as if you're 'on a diet'.
I may recommend supplements; as with everything I suggest, this is negotiable and I will explain why I think they will help.
I will do my best to take into account your personal circumstances and financial situation when making suggestions.
If for any reason I don't feel I'm the right person for you, I will let you know as soon as possible, and point you in the direction of someone more suitable.
PLEASE NOTE:
At the moment (2022) I am running consultations on Zoom, but there is an option for a combination of face to face and Zoom, in the form of 'Nutrition in the Kitchen' - you give me some preliminary information in a form, we meet and talk through my recommendations, making food to set you up to make your changes with confidence.
