Lemon Dressing

Dressings

As well as top quality organic ingredients,
it’s the dressings which make our
salads special. Adding just the
right flavours can really make the
difference between a mediocre salad
and a delicious one with lots of
depth and layers of taste.
Tina’s Kitchen dressings have
nutritional benefits as well as
enhancing the taste of the vegetables.
You’ll notice there is no sweetener in
any of these dressings; it’s become

the norm to sweeten dressings,
making even our savoury foods
taste sweet! There’s no doubt that
getting away from this habit is a
major step in our journey to better
health, so do learn to enjoy the
more complex flavours you’ll
notice without the sweetness.

how to

  • 1 organic lemon
  • 150ml extra virgin olive oil

Wash the lemon, cut into pieces and pop into a blender with the olive oil.
Whizz until smooth.
This can be used in the hummus recipe, and is also delicious on salads, fish and meat dishes.
Lemon peel has lots of goodness in it (antioxidants and vitamin C) – such a shame to waste it, and this is surprisingly tasty.
